The Sitter Charter represents the 7 essential rules of Bsit

Your responsibilities you shall remember
During the sitting, I am responsible for the children, even when they are asleep! I never leave them alone and am always reachable. I do not leave the house (and I do not welcome anyone!) without consent.

Prepared for the unexpected you shall be
I avoid dangerous activities and - in case of emergency - I call the the emergencies, then the parent. Above all, I remain calm in front of the children!

The rules you shall recall and sincerely you shall express yourself
Some taboos are obvious (no tobacco, no alcohol, no exploration of the house, ...) but in case of doubt, I ask the parent (bedtime and other instructions). Then I honestly recount how the sitting went!

The (semi-)God of the children you shall become
I keep my phone in my pocket and I plan stories and activities. I listen to the children but I do not hesitate to say "no" when necessary.

It is in discretion... that you shall shine!
I respect the parent's privacy (I do not wander around the house) and the children's privacy (I do not post photos of them on social media) and even though I am not here to clean up, it goes without saying that at the end of the meal, I tidy up the leftovers and the dishes!

Punctual you shall be and in case of cancellation you shall notify!
If I accept a sitting, I accept the proposed price and the meeting time. If I have a setback, especially at the last minute, I call the parent!

You shall benefit from the app!
Organising a sitting outside the app deprives me of many advantages and - above all - prevents Bsit from helping me in case of trouble. Also, only a properly registered parent will be able to contact me via Bsit in a trusted environment.
